| We are based in the Brecon Beacons National Park
(Wales) where the dogs are kept in excellent physical condition
due to the mountainous exercise they receive!
We are very fussy about our bloodlines and only use the very
best of German lines that we feel will add to the breed.
All our dogs are hip scored. We will not breed from a dog with
a score of over 15. Our males are also haemophillia tested clear.
All our dogs and any puppies retained for our breeding program
must pass a herding instinct test.
We breed primarily for temperament, meaning the dogs are not
genetically predisposed to fear biting / aggression etc but yet
possess the strength of nerve to be trained as personal protection
dogs, police service dogs etc.
We try to match our pups with owners requirements as much as
possible. We extensively aptitude / temperament test all our pups
at about 7 weeks old and then do our best to advise new owners
on their choice.
We both will soon receive certification in canine behaviour and
will then become associate members of the Canine behaviour centre
(Dog psychologists). We offer free telephone advice to new owners
for the lifetime of the dog. Free general advice is available
on this website. Click here. We can also
offer specific advice and help with training for potential working
dogs.
