3rd April 2008:

Freya surprised us and had her pups early! All the pups are strong and healthy and Freya is proving to be a very natural mother, taking everything in her stride. She was even happy to allow our 10 year old son Alex to be at the birth.

We have 2 black & tan males, 1 sable male and 2 sable females.

This breeding aims to combine strength, substance, solidity of temperament and conformation from a solid West German 'type' male with intelligence, drive, focus and intensity from a female with an impeccable working pedigree.

This gentle mixing of working and show stock is done to avoid the extremes of both beauty show and working sports trends and strives to produce dogs with reliable temperament, good bone, strong heads, level toplines and fluid movement. This breeding aims to produce pups with potential for the full range of working activities but with the capacity to cap drive and function happily as part of a family too. These pups should therefore also be ideal as: companions, personal protection, agility, obedience, working trials, schutzhund etc.
